What a Truck! The 2012 RAM Diesel Longhorn

I didn't think anything could top the "WOW" factor I had when I picked up my 2010 RAM, but I was wrong. The 2011 surprised me again. Well, let me tell you, the 2012 RAM Longhorn Diesel was enough for me to just shake my head in awe!! In the past I have always mentioned my first impressions when I have picked up my RAM. This time I wanted to wait, and get the Summer and Fall under my belt to see if the "WOW" factor wore off, it hasn't!! I can honestly say, I am every bit as pleased with my 2500 RAM now, as I was 8 months ago.
Same great ride, same whisper quiet interior as my 2011 model, only it just keeps getting better! This model is the 2012, 2500 Diesel Longhorn, not only is the plush interior incredibly comfortable, but this time I was treated to the backup camera. This was an extra I always thought to be excessive but the first time after using it, I couldn't imagine not having it. It made backing up to the trailer and tight parking spots a dream come true.
The RAM BOX feature was an extra I originally didn't know if I would use that much. I could see the huge benefit to contractors for quick access to tools and cords, but didn't know how it would suit me. It didn't take long to fall in love! All the smaller items that I would climb around the bed looking for, like rope, tie downs, tire blocks, wiper fluid; now was perfectly at my finger tips. Since the RAM BOX is totally water tight and locks, it is ideal for anything. It is even conveniently lit for night time use. A big plus for me, it is washable and complete with a drain hole at the bottom, so minnow buckets, muddy boots,......you name it.......get the RAM BOX wet and dirty, and keep the rest of the truck clean and dry.
12,000 km oil change intervals, a whisper quiet cab even during highway travel and 800 foot pounds of torque makes this my tow vehicle of choice. RAM is truly taking over the pickup market and I can see why.
