Today the Mercury Marine Destination takes us up to Cree Lake in Northern Saskatchewan.
A calm morning is just the ticket to target open water Lake Trout, but if you want to catch oversized fish, make sure your tackle is up to it, and a few extra tweaks might make things even better. Charlie can’t wait to try a custom painted spoon, and it doesn’t take long for the lake Trout to show that they like it too!
What’s a trip to Cree Lake lodge without at least a few hours targeting giant Pike in the afternoon. Sight fishing can be fun, but if you don’t take your equipment seriously you might be missing out.
