Episode #367 Fly-In Walleye Fun

Today the Mercury Marine Destination takes us to Cochrane in Northern Ontario.

After a run in the RAM, we arrive at Cochrane Air Services for a much-anticipated outing. Fly-in trips are always fun and having a lake all to yourself is a special treat, especially when you bring a helper and have some underwater eyes.  While Walleye are the main target, Pike are always abundant in the North so be prepared.  Drop shot rigs fished close to the bottom are a natural for Walleye, but making them from wire is not only a Pike protector but helps from rocky abrasions.  Get it right and the rewards can be huge!
